and maintianing each entry with screen shots and its impact

In a Third party Sales order process company is not delivering the goods directly to the customer so why there is need to do Goods Receipt Process T-code :(MIGO) transaction in SAP as there is no physical delivery of goods is taking place in Company? Even if we are doing it symbolically in SAP system then the stocks are going to pile up, so why we need to do MIGO transaction. Tell me the logic behind it? Please reply asap... Error@ "Period 006/2010 is not open for account type S and G/L 893025". Dear experts I have tried changing posting periods. but i m not able to solve this error..i tried in ob52 but don't no how to do. can anyone plese tell how to do it so i can post stock.
