Withholding tax means holding the tax portion of customer
and vendor which need to pay to tax authority, it will be
paid to tax authority on behalf of customer or vendor.
Withholding Tax(VAT) is used for both for the Vendor and
the Customer.
It is the taxable portion deducted by company to pay for
Taxation authority. To enable that option, SAP as designed
withholding tax concept.

1)Withholding Tax(VAT) is used for both for the Vendor and
the Customer.
2)Using Time Stamped Tax Invoice we can select the from
date and the to date of Tax period.
3)In SAP first we try to bring Input Tax and Output Tax
under one File,then we can take print out or else we can
save it in DME(Data Medium Exchange) we can file the TAX
returns.
4)Then we can prepare the VAT Summary Report with the
TCode RFKRSUM.

I am not able to post W/H tax entry in F-43, though I have performed all the steps for W/H tax configuration? The pop up window for W/H tax is not showing, and in FB60 too the W/H tax,base amount entry, is suppressed.Pls help with the problem Note: The Comp. Code for which W/H tax has been configured is set up on a newly loaded SAP software.
