Middleton at al (2009) stated direct marketing means that a business promotes to and deals directly with its customer. usually this method of marketing is require cost such as to produce brochure, catalogue, and other method to promote our product. the customer also will give response whether they want to buy the product or want further information about the product or they don't want to buy the product. while for the indirect marketing means that sales are achieved through third-party distribution. usually indirect marketing are less cost or free marketing. the third party distribution can be friends, blog, etc. example of indirect marketing are word of mouth, gossip, and others. however, the indirect marketing can give positive image or negative image.
