For 1 cu m of concrete required 1.54 Cu m times dry volume. Pl give clarification of 1.54 factor..

Bulk density of green concrete i.e. mixture of WATER, cement, sand and aggregate is around 1.70 gm/cc or 1700 Kg/ Cum before compaction. So to produce 1 cum of compacted concrete we need 1.54 cum of mix volume including AIR.
