Most substances are easily soluble in these solvents. They have lower absorbance in routine HPLC working range (205-400 nm). Hence no interference will be there due to these solvents.
Due to less density, they create less pressure in column and hence the column life can be improved.

these solvents have lower wavelengths,whish compounds below 210nm these may helps to elute first from the column.As a results it will not effect pressure on the column
