There are two types of initialization parameter files exist.

1:PFILE, commonly referred to as initSID.ora
2: SPFILE, commonly referred to as spfileSID.ora

Use

To start an instance, the Oracle server reads the initialization parameter file.

Parameter File Contents

• A list of instance parameters
• The name of the database the instance is associated with
• Allocations for memory structures of the System Global Area (SGA)
• What to do with filled online redo log files
• The names and locations of control files
• Information on undo segments

What are homogeneous copy and heterogeneous copy and how you will do that? how to impot the OSS notes? What is OCS how to apply OCS patches? ABAP service pack level can found in SPAM, but how to find the java stack level?
