Difference between any two buffer intevels should be not more than 4 .so generally we use PH4,PH7.4,PH9.2

It is three point pH calibration one acidic one basic and
one neutral.Buffer PH 4 is acidic 9.2 is basic and 7.4is
neutral

there was nothing particularity in pH meter calibration, as per our utility in lab or products, we will fix those particular points
in my lab, 1.68, 4.00-acid
7.00-Neutral
10.01,12.45-base
and also we can follow as per usp or some other compendial specs
