Brick size- 230 x115x50Consider 10 sqm - 10x.115=1.15cum 115mm th.
Normally mortar joint will be less than 1cm, taking 1cm mortar joint the actual th. Of wall thickness will be-.105mm
So, actual volume- 10x.105=1.05 cum.
No. Of bricks= 1.05/.23*.115*.150=264 nos. Take 5% wastage it comes around 280 nos.
Mortar requirement- total volume of brickwork- 1.05 cum
For fog filling, for use of cut brickwork, uniform joints take 15% extra
So total volume- 1.05+1.05*15%=1.2075
For dry volume, volume increase 1/4 th ofmortar so 1.2075+1.2075/4=1.509 cum
So for 10 sqmt 1.509 cum mortar
If you take 1:6 then you calculated cement and sand
1.509/7=.215 cum
Sand=.215x76= 1.29 cum
