In 11KV Double pole structure for each phase we are using Disc one Insulator. Why we are not using 2..

Answer / shan

one disc can withstand 11kv so that in 11kv we are using one insulator the same if 22 kv we use 2 disc and in 33 we use 3 disc if 132 kv we use 12 disc i.e(11kv * 12 = 132kv)

In 11KV Double pole structure for each phase we are using Disc one Insulator. Why we are not using 2..

Answer / kinslevel

The Disc is made in
such a way that each
Disc can withold 11kv.
So, you can only use 2
of the Disc if perhaps
you want to increase
the transmitting
voltage to about 22kv
or more.

In 11KV Double pole structure for each phase we are using Disc one Insulator. Why we are not using 2..

Answer / mishra

the Disc designed to withstand 18KV so it can work without get puncher at 11Kv
the number of discs snnected by the formula
18*(KV * fluctuating voltage)
where fluctuating voltage is plus minus 6% according to IER in OH lines

While connecting the flood light plug on to the 415 V distribution panel, there was spark and the cable got burnt. Three ignitors of the flood light also burnt of. The lamps are of 400 W (total 6 lamps) connected through 1.5 mm2 cable. The plug was immediately removed from the circuit. There was a 30 mA RCD connected and a 250 A MCCB; however both did not trip. What could be the possible reasons for the circuit devices not to trip? Can someone assist please. Additional info if needed can be provided.
