No, it is not possible to convert a 4 wire device (power on
2 wires, output signal on 2 wires) to a 2 wire, loop
powered transmitter.

A 2 wire loop powered transmitter uses 3.7mA of the current
loop to runs its electronics. That's why the 'live zero'
starts at 4.0mA, so that there's some power avialable to
the transmitter's electronics.

There's lots of technologies that cannot run on the limited
power of approximately 3.7mA at 24Vdc. Thermal dispersion
flow meters, most wet cell gas detectors, thermal
ionization detectors, to name a few, which have to be 3 or
4 wire devices in order to have sufficient power to operate.

How do Foundation Fieldbus works? how the Communication Carries out from Foundation field bus,Field Devices and Controller? Were it's Application in the Field? For Which Signals this is Used? Foe selecting control valve if i have the min,normal & max data of flow rate,inlet pressure& outlet pressure,inlet tem.&density than how can i assure that these data are correct,pl. let me know if therew there is any method to check it.& also how we assure that the Cv we get from this data is suitable for valve for controlling require flow.

Level in tank under vacuum (Ex: Condensate Tank of Power Plant)is measured using D. P. type level transmitter. Tank is subjected to vacuum of 755mmHg. Hi buddies! my name is sachin and i am working as a electrical and instrumentation engineer in a paper plant. right now i am facing a problem and if someone could help me it will be an immense pleasure to me. i am using AC 800M to synchronise DCS500 drives on paper machine and rewinder.communication is on PROFIBUS and we are using NPBA-01 module to link profibus to DC drives.But these days two of these drives are showing a error named FIELDBUS COMM.TIMED OUT and the drives get tripped.I have changed the NPBA module and PROFIBUS cable.So if anyone can do please help me out with this problem.I'll be highly grateful.
