How to Calibrate Penumatic Transmitter.LRV= -60 URV= -20.Can u give me Answer...

Answer / naren

connect to pressure calibator, apply the low pressure -60
adjust the span into low pressure and then apply the high
pressure then adjust the span screw into high value. it is
calibrated in the range of -60 to -20.

if it is the SMART transmitter its easy, just apply URV and
LRV value through Communicator then connect to the pressure
calibator then check URV, LRV and intermediate value

How to Calibrate Penumatic Transmitter.LRV= -60 URV= -20.Can u give me Answer...

Answer / ramesh

we can apply the +ve pressure to the lp side that is 60
with zero, then +ve 20 with span with respect hp open to
atmosphere

or apply -ve pressure that is vaccum to the hp side with
respect lp open to atmosphere

How to Calibrate Penumatic Transmitter.LRV= -60 URV= -20.Can u give me Answer...

Answer / sandeep patel

connect transmitter in bench setup, left LP side of transmitter open to atmosphere and apply -60 mmwc to HP side and check it s o/p is 4 mA or not and if it is not, then do zero trimming. then apply -20 mmwc to HP side and check o/p is 20 mA or not otherwise fo span trimming.

How to Calibrate Penumatic Transmitter.LRV= -60 URV= -20.Can u give me Answer...

Answer / anup ramteke

It depends upon the type of transmitter u are having. If its
HART based transmitter then either u can calibrate it
through HART calibrator. firstly go to basic set-up mode and
feed the URV as well as LRV values. And if u want to
calibrate it at field itself when HART calibrator is not
available then u can set LRV value by entering its value in
mode 2 whereas for URV its mode 3.

How to Calibrate Penumatic Transmitter.LRV= -60 URV= -20.Can u give me Answer...

Answer / suvendu sekhar giri

You can give positive pressure on low pr side keeping the
high side open to atomosphere for lrv (-60) & urv (-20)or
you can give negative pressure on high pr side for lrv(-60)
& urv(-20) keeping low side open to atomosphere. You can
adjust zero at lrv & span at urv. If it is smart
transmitter then you can zero trimming keeping both the low
& high pressure side open to atmosphere.
