for 1 cum = 1/1+3+6=.142cum total volume of conc.
then cement is = .142x1440=204.48 kg ( unit weight of
cement is 1440kg)

so bags is 204.48/50=4.08bags

it is a thumb rule

let's have calculation
for 1 cum= 1/1+3+6=.1cum it is total volume of conc't.
then cement is=.1x1440=144kg
so bag is 144/50=2.88 bags.

it is also perfectly thumb rule.

1+3+6=10
1/10=0.1*28.8bags=2.88 bags of cement
Add 50% for waste and bulk density and shrinkage
1.44+2.88=4.32 bags of cement...
