There are two types of free goods..
* Inclusive (NRAB)
* Exclusive (R100)
When we use inclusive, NRAB condition type come in the
Sales doc and when we use exclusive, R100 codition types
come in the sales doc.

Main difference is in condition category, Requirement and
alt cond base value.
R100- there is no condition category
but for NRAB F is the condition category assigned to
condition type VOV6.

Function of NRAB is, Insted of taking the free good the
free good price will be debited from net value of the
document.the balance amount only can pay. this is
applicable to Inclusive only.

Condition type NRAB is for inclusive free goods which have
a single line item in sales order. For e.g., you have
ordered 10 pc of material "x" each piece of Rs.100. Here,
in inclusive free goods, the system will calculate Rs.900
for 9 pc of material "x" and Rs.100 for 1 piece of
material "x"(i.e. the free goods controlled by cond. type
NRAB with a substract sign in the conditiion tab of the
sales order). The whole things are controlled by condition
category (maintained as "f") in NRAB, in addition to above

NRAB is condition type used in inclusive free goods , below are the few points about NRAB

1.In free goods master data maintenance, this type is dealt with in the same way as the inclusive free goods procedure.

2.In order processing, creation of subitems is not allowed.

3.In delivery processing, no further action is required.

4.For pricing in the main item, you need to create a discount. The standard system provides pricing procedure RVAA01 and condition type NRAB

5.The free goods quantity is shown in printouts (e.g. for order confirmations or invoices).

6.The free goods quantity can not be used in the Profitability Analysis or for statistical purposes.

7.The billing document does not create separate items. If you require this, you must use the procedure for inclusive free goods with item generation.

If a customer does not want a second line item for free
goods, while creating free goods with VBN1, we set the free
goods category indicator at 3= Inclusive rebate with out
item generation. Then in VA01, there is no separate item
generation for free goods, however. free good discount is
given by NRAB condition type in the main item pricing. You
can check this in the pricing analysis. This is controlled
by condition category "f" - Free goods = inclusive.

While, R100 condition type applies to both inclusive and
exclusive scenario where second line item for free goods is
always generated with item category TANN.

generation" (no second line item for free goods i.e. for
the main item)

Hi, When i am doing posting stock in the plant the following error is occured. "posting only poossible in periods 2013/09 and 0000/00 in company code xxxx". I know the t.code. It is MMpv.
