The unit is used to measure pressure in low range.
It means that tank with a height of 10m filled with water.
then pressure in that tank will be 10000mmWC.
because density of water is 1.

Density of water is unity.For this reason low pressure
measurement is done using mmwc unit.

density of water is unity. due to this a small pressure
change gives large displacement in water colum and thus we
get accurate reading. so used mmWC.

How can we say that accuracy of measurement increases by using 3 or 4 wire RTD? because for example: If resistance of RTD element is say r ohms and Resistance of the cable from transmitter to RTD is R ohms And if 4 wire RTD is used, ____._____________________ R ohms | |_____._____________________ R ohms / \ / r ohms \ \ | |______.__________________ R Ohms | |_______._________________ R ohms Then the actual resistance measured will be: Total = r + R/2 + R/2 = r +R Ohms Note: r+R instead of r ohms. hence error

i have one absolute pressure transmitter for the range is -400mmhg to 400mmhg. If i do the zero trim at atmosphere the transmitter should be give 4ma or 12ma? which one is correct?
