Zener diodes regulate voltage. when placed in reverse bias is will have a constant voltage across it's terminals.
place it in parallel with a load and the load will receive a constant voltage regardless of the current flowing in the circuit as long as there is enough current to drive the diode.
since any parallel circuit will have the same voltage dropped across each parallel leg.
it does not act like a battery, the only component that acts like a battery is a capacitor, in that it can hold a voltage potential, but does not have much staying power when driving a current.

wht is mean by dpt(differential pressure transmitter)
A pressure transmitter with a range of 0-100 bar.The accuracy of the instrument is 1% of upper range value? The pressure indicating transmitter is showing the system pressure is 50 bar. b. When you include the error, what is the minimum possible pressure in our fuel gas system? i. 49.5 bar ii. 49 bar iii. 1 bar iv. 0.5 bar We want to change the filter cartridge. We must depressure the fuel gas system. c. After we depressure the system in preparation for maintenance, the transmitter displays a pressure of +0.1 bar. At this time, what is the possible range of pressures in our fuel system? i. +0.099 to +0.101 bar ii. 0 to +0.2 bar iii. -0.1 to +0.3 bar iv. -0.9 to +1.1 bar
Pls.could any one Clarify the following with an example. 1.At What condition Close on Rise and Close on Fall Pressure Switch contacts are used. 2.If Pressure is abnormal as per set pressure,if connecting Terminal of pressure switch breaks, how the voltage extends to Relay base. 3.Are these contacts come under fail safe philasaphy.
