What will happen if 40W and 60W Bulb is Connected in Series...

Answer / sureshjuglan

The 40 W bulb will glow brithter than 60W bulb.
As both bulbs are connected in series the current flowing
in the ckt will be same, however the voltage will divided
depending opon their resistance. The resistance of 40W bulb
is more than 60W bulb so it will gain more voltage hence
its power (VI) will be more than 60W bulb and will glow
brighter.
