What is the need of ISOLATION Transformer?
Answer / lakshmi
isolation transformer is a 1:1 transformer. its basic
principle is same as that of ordinary transformer. only the
difference is it can`t step up or step down the voltage. it
provides only isolation between primary and secondary.
strikly speaking that isolation transformer provides more
safety for electrically operated equipment like hand
drilling machines, electric shaving kit etc.

Difference between induction motor and synchronous motor? i Think Synchronous motors operate at synchronous speed (RPM=120f/p) while induction motors operate at less than synchronous speed (RPM=120f/p – slip). Slip is nearly zero at zero load torque and increases as load torque increases am a right pls guide & send Other Comments
