for nominal mix like M10,M15,M20,M25 the proportion of cement ,sand & agg is fixed as posted above.but for rich mix like M30,M35... the proportion is requred to be design by various method like IS method by using chart,table etc.

1cum concrete with water= 1.57cum dry material
For Cement- 1/(1+1.5+3)*1.57=0.285cum=8.55bags
For Sand- 1.5/(1+1.5+3)*1.57=0.43cum
For Aggregate -3/(1+1.5+3)*1.57=0.86cum

M25 -1:1:2
For Cement- 1/(1+1+2)*1.57=0.39cum=11.77bags
For Sand- 1/(1+1+2)*1.57=0.39cum
For Aggregate -2/(1+1+2)*1.57=0.78cum
