1)BP Categories 1. person 2.organization 3.group
2) In CRM they r called under BP Roles and in R/3 they
comes under customer a/c group . so in CRM they called BP
but in R/3 they called customer with diffrent partner
functions.

1. Partner Functions : Partner functions are terms that
describe the people and organizations with whom you do
business, and who are therefore involved in transactions.
Partner functions are always assigned to partner function
categories, which are hard-coded in the system.

BP Categories 1.Organization 2.Group and 3. Person.

2. BP in CRM is more flexible than in R/3 (Partner functions)

3.sources for partner functions: Preceding Document,
Business Partner Relationships , Org data, Current Partners etc.
