The difference between fe415 & fe500 is only the corbon
content in the material. in fe500 corbon content is more
when compared to fe415 and in now a days fe415 grade steel
is used for most of the residential buildings.

Fe 415 yield strength is less than Fe 500. But Fe 415 is more ductile than Fe 500. Fe 415 means its yieild strength is 415 N/sqmm (415 MPa). Fe 415 is mostly used in residential buildings.
