settlement profile created. configure profit center settings
and operating concern which meets client reporting
requirements, for doing this first we need to study client
reporting requirements. understand the business process and
which method they are fallowing (MTO or MTS). Based on the
process we need to configure product costing and period end
activities such as O.H calculation,WIP,variance calculation,

Hai Reshmi Bal,

primary cost element is nothing but GL accounts, which
carry cost and revenue into controlling. in simple term
those are the intermediatary between fi and co, which
bridges the link.
secondary cost elements purely CO internal use only for
calculate workin progress,variances,over head and also use
for cost assessment between cost objects.
MTO----make to order:
this is individual requirement of customer.order is creted
with reference to the customer order.becoz more than one
order created for the same material.
MTS----make to stock:
this is continues production process.first they will make
stock and sell in the market. this is generally in the
process industry.. ex:- chemical industry......

the same you need to configure in sap......... i hope so

sorry my question has discurded..actually i want to know
whether all gl accounts are parally related to every cost
centers...whats is basic diff between primary and secondary
cost center..whts is the full form of MTS & MTO..actually i
am in learning process of CO so if i ask any silly
questions dnt let me down..

hello to all, i inquired various institutes in Bangalore, like radiant, prologc and sapware. they said 2 level training and each level they charge 15000 rupees. but these institutes are not authorized.and the faculty also not good they dont have any experience simply said they have 10 years experience, frankly speaking they don't have any experience. and they provide fake company documents like gensis ,gensoft and other companies offer letter, releving letter and other related documents along with bank statements. they are simply cheating companies. guys please be careful. and initially they tell to students they are providing 100% jobs and they tie-up with more than 80 companies. one you finish the course they wont respond your calls also. please close these type of institutes and save students and companies also. please

Hi all see the problem is, suppose i sold goods to customer 10 units @ 120 & my COGS (cost of goods sold) is 100 per unit . After that he told me your quality is not good ok & u r charging high 4 that i will pay you only 110 rs for that otherwise i will return ur goods. After that i made 1 credit memo 4 that of rs 10 ok. now the issue is it is also affecting the COGS but it has to remain same And will effect at profit & my profit must be reduced from 20 rs per unit to 10rs per unit & COGS must remain constant i.e is 100 rs
