Go to Transction Code SU01. Provide the User Name. Click on Change icon. Go to the Tab Parameters, provide the parameter Id as VST and punch in the shipping point you want to default for this particular user.

Save.

Go to VL01N and confirm.

Similarly if you want to default a sales area while the order creation you can do it for other objects like Sales Organisation, Distribution Channel and Divisions too.

HI...ALL This is NANDU..Shipping point will come at two
levels one is sales order in item level,another one is
delivery in header level.for this we need to do
configuration settings..
configuartion settings:

1.Define shipping point
path:spro->enterprise
structure->defination->logistics&excution->define shipping
point.

2.Assign shipping point to plant
path:spro->assignments->logistics&excution->assign shipping
point to plant

3.shipping point determination:t.code is ovl2
path:spro->logisticsZ&excution->shipping->basic
functions->shipping point&recieving point->assign shipping
point.

procedure:
shipping conditions+loading grop+plant+
shipping point.

first shipping pt should be determined with plant,loading grp,
shipping condition in OVL2
then shipping condition should be maintained in the CMR & MMR

YOU NEED TO CONFIGURE IT AT 2 palces one is in coustomer
master data and then in the materila master data in sales
org 2 . Incase you dont want to do it over there . You can
also do it at Delivery go in and make the cajhnges in the
loading group given in the tabs or else in the
transportation . you will have the setting changes

I have two different terms of payment one is grace period of 10 days and other one is 15 days. Now I have two set of materials, one is set A and other one is Set B. If a customer initiate a sales order for Set B materials then the customer should get terms of payment of 15 days or else I should get 10 days terms of payment in sales order. How can I overcome this.
