The answer depends on the following parameters: 1. At which
point the two generating systems are earthed, 2. Is there a
neutral isolation for the second generator, 3. how the
earth fault sensing element is connected- by 3 phase CT
forming residual circuit or direct measurement placing the
CT between generator star point and earth, 4. what is the %
setting for earth fault protection and what delay is
setted.

In addition to the above answer, what type of earthing is
provided for both the generators also matters. Secondly, if
it is NGR, which NGR is closed, or both are closed.

If I bring a basic electric meter from the States and hook it up in Costa Rica in a development that has only one transformer for the 50 homes, will it still be accurate regarding the usage of kilowatt hours?

After synchronizing the running generator with grid, the avr getting tripped and the generator breaker also oettong tripped, before tripping the avr the pf meter of generator is showing leading pf please kindly give a suggestion to rectify this problem.
