A Green Building is a preety vast term.
But any building certified under LEED or IGBC is considered
as Green building
These certificates can only be obtained if the building
uses most Renewable Natural resources than Non-Renewable
resources.Also wastages of Electricity & Water is minimum
and ample Green space is provided in the surrounding of the
building.

in short Green Building is a eco-friendly conctruction.
Any building certified under LEED (leadership in energy
efficient design) or IGBC is considered
as Green building.
for LEED certificate, we have to construct the building as
per stimulation report from the leed consultant.
1) reuse of the waist materials.
2) Conservation of water & electricity.
3) FSC wood for wood work.
4)High performance glasses for window & facade.
5)Avoid outer heat inside the structure by using High
performance glasses & insulation on terrace & in external
walls. etc.
And much more.

functionality is the same, as any other building. Any green
building would show tremendous concern on efficient
utilization of resources, thereby reducing the impact on
environment.
In general, a Green building would incorporate the
following green features:
Effective use of existing landscapes
Use of energy efficient and Eco-friendly equipment
Use of recycled and Environmental friendly Building
materials
Quality indoor air quality for human safety and comfort
Efficient use of water
Use of Non-Toxic & recycled materials

building has all safety precautions,good environment,
construction with proper quality,provided all necessary
