Is that Speed Probe and Vibration Probe sensors are same,if yes what is the diff b/w them?..

normally we are measuring vibration signals are amplitude,
frequecy and phase.

for this we are using the same probe.

vibration is measured as peak to peak, a measure of the
total excursion of the rotor or machine casing in 'mils or
micrometers'.
Frequency is measure of how fast a body is vibrating and is
used to identify the source of vibrations. frequency is
expressed in shaft rotative speed.

for calibrating or checking probe or transmitter using for frequency (rotation / min )
1. adjust gap voltage at zero (-10V)at TK 3
2. put some small sticker on wobbulating part.
3. increase the speed of wobulator (TK3)
3. your out put is measured from multi meter at HZ range

Speed probe generallyworks on frequency by adjusting the
gap voltage 4-20 ma will be gnerated from the field
