I have 1 KW, 3ph. 440v, 50 hz, cos(phi) .75, efficiency 75%(star delta connection)Motor. How to c..

Answer / s c budhiraja

(1) First for star connections:line
current=1000/.75*1.73*.75*440=1.75 A for both line &
phase.

(2) For delta connections; Line current=1.75A

Phase current=1.75/1.73=1A

Note: There no use of Motor efficiency here.
