as the frequency mainly depends on speed and number of poles
pn/120. basically 4 poles and 1500rpm motors are designed so
that we get 50hz frequency.

Because most of indian power plant using 2 pole or 4 pole
and 2 pole genarater maintain 3000rpm and 4 pole genarater
1500 rpm. so we get 50Hz frequncy.

Ns=120F/p

Ns=synchrouns speed
F=frequncy
P=number of pole
120=span an angle
