if PF is less KVA rating of the GENERATOR will be more
how it is KW=KVA/PF if PF reduced KVA rating is goes up for
same KW rating so genarator size will be more than
nomal.for low PF current also high so losses are high at
all stages.

Generaly the generator is run in lagging power factor only.
If we tryed to increase the power factor to unity, then the
generator will be overloaded.Ex: 750KVA,0.8PF generator we
can connect up to 600KW load. If we increase the power
factor to unity there is a chace to connect extra true
power up to 750KW. so the engine will be load.

i have 6oo kva dry type transformer and its neutral is not grounded even body of transformer ground i want to know it is safe or not ?
