mostly cable size is selected according to the load equipments,it is depend on the equipments, if my equipments is three phase ,so the current is difference from the single phase equipments,in a three phase circuit , 1 mm2 three core copper cable rating 4-5 amp.,and aluminium cable is taking only 2-3 amp. only.temperature of the atmosphere where we use it, is very important for the right cable selection

Amps rating is correct for selecting cable. but my question
is that what is the equition to calculation of cable or
wire size as per load requirement.Exam: total load is 4Kw
then which size cable will be required?
