dc machines is not prefer to use at place where flamming
gases are coming out because it requires brushes and
commutator arrangements. it causes sparking during the
operations.
so we can go for Induction motors,preferable squrrle cage
induction motor are used. there are two types of IM.there
are i]slip ring IM ii]squrrle cage IM.
in the first one slip ring IM, it also not preferable
beacuse of slip ring arrangements. it also cause sparking.
second one squrrle cage is completely safe there is no
slipring arrangements.

Firth of all you may have to do a proper harzadous clacification area to determine if the place where you are going to install your motor is DIV 1, 2 or other (done by chemical certificated enginner)then after you must to select the suitable motor for that area operation, motor for harzadous manufacturers can give the information you need but you have to carefully to choice the correct motor because this involve to great riisk to choise a rong motor

We have three 33kv substations. All of them energised by same source.When i am checking the phase sequence between one substation to other substation (like R Phase to R Phase) by multimeter i am getting some voltage.Near to LT panels UPS panels are there. Can u explain whether any possible to happen like that. In Phase SEquencemeter is showing correctly in both substations. How is it happen. Explain me.Explain me communication signal will produce Phase difference on this case.
