WHAT IS EDDY CURRENT LOSSES AND SKIN EFFECT LOSSES IN
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Answer / ranjit singh
when the e.m.f. is induced in the winding ,then this e.m.f.
also induced in core of the transformer because winding is
put on the core and core is a magnetic material and due to
e.m.f. current flow in the core and heat is produced inthe
core ,
it is known as eddy current losses.
SKIN EFFECT -:DUE TO THIS EFFECT current is flow over the
surface of the conducter
