A middleware is computer software that provides services
to software applications beyond those available from the
operating system.
Thus middleware is not obviously part of an operating
system, and neither is it part of one software application.
It is a software that enables communication and management
of data in distributed applications.
It is sometimes used in a similar sense to a software
driver, an abstraction layer that hides detail about
hardware devices or other software from an application.
Middleware is intended to solve general “plumbing” issues
faced by developers, so they can focus on the specific
purpose of their application.


software is a computer programe (every thing that we canot

I'm working with a crosstab in cognos now. Page 1 contains crosstab Page 2 contains list Fact - Revenue Dimension - Product line, Year If I click on the revenue (cell value) it should goto the particular record in another list which is located in a separate page.
