Answer / bala
Ratio 1:2:4 as u know
1-Volume of cement
2-volume of fine aggregate
4-volume of coarse aggregate
1 bag of cement = 1 1/4 Cft so the gauge box measures the
same
so sand twice the gauge box (2*one onefourth Cft)
and coarse aggregate four times the gauge box(4*one
onefourth Cft)

To find the individual ratio of materials we have to use one
formula,
Sand = 0.46% of cement
Aggre= 0.92% of cement
For ratio 1:2:4
to find cement qty: (0.46%/2)*1440kg= 331Kg
For ratio 1:3:6
to find cement qty: (0.46%/3)*1440kg= 221Kg

Answer / vinod kumar,sriharikota
quantity of cement = 1/7=0.1428 cu.m
quantity of fine aggregate = 2/7 =0.2857 cu.m
quantity of coarse aggregate = 4/7 =0.5714 cu.m
total = 0.1428+0.2857+0.5714 = 1.000 cu.m
