Ratio 1:2:4 as u know
1-Volume of cement
2-volume of fine aggregate
4-volume of coarse aggregate
1 bag of cement = 1 1/4 Cft so the gauge box measures the

Sand = 0.46% of cement
Aggre= 0.92% of cement
For ratio 1:2:4
to find cement qty: (0.46%/2)*1440kg= 331Kg

quantity of cement = 1/7=0.1428 cu.m
quantity of fine aggregate = 2/7 =0.2857 cu.m
quantity of coarse aggregate = 4/7 =0.5714 cu.m
total = 0.1428+0.2857+0.5714 = 1.000 cu.m
