Hi to all
By using M.C We can measure Moisture Present in our drug
By using LOD we can determine only Class-3 Solvents according ICH Q3C_R5 besides moisture content..







Only Class 3 solvents are likely to be present. Loss on drying is less than 0.5%.

by m.c. we have to found out only water content present in the sample
while lod we have to find out water content and any solvents{non volatile}present in the sample
