what is the difference between M.C and LOD

Hi to all
By using M.C We can measure Moisture Present in our drug
By using LOD we can determine only Class-3 Solvents according ICH Q3C_R5 besides moisture content..
Only Class 3 solvents are likely to be present. Loss on drying is less than 0.5%.
