Slump test is carried out for measure workiability of
concrete. it telles about water cement ratio present in
concrete. generraly we kept this ratio is between 25 to
100mm.
slump is less than 25mm water present is very low if
greater than 80mm water present is very high.

Answer / rubes
"slump" is vertical settlement of concrete after the mould
is removed.
a concrete with 0-25mm slump has a low degree of
workability and with 175 mm slump a high degree of
workability which is not suitable for vibrations.
for foundations and footing walls, other sub structures,
26-50mm of slump is permissible (without vibration) and with
vibration a slump of 40-115 is permissible

then it indicates very stiff non workable cncrete and if 80
mm indicats workable concrete.such type of concrete is not
good for pumping purpose.
