There are 3 windings marked as a1 a2,b1 b2,and c1 c2.In star
a2 ,b2 and c2 are shorted and supply will be given to a1, b1
and c1.In delta a1 and c2, a2 and b1, and b2 and c1 are
shorted and supply will be given to 3 common points

Can anybody tell me why inductors draw lagging current and capacitors draw leading current from supply?
