dc supply given to the x'mer , there is no flux produced
into the transformer due to the absence of frequency ,
cause will be damaged of insulation of x'mer and its get
overheated

it will lead to burning of transfotmer because there will
not be any secondary emf hence tranformer will work like a
load itself & due to overheating it will burn.

When DC is supplied to a transformer the windings in the transformer will make it a electro magnet. There will be no
effect on the secondary but when the supply is interrupted a
voltage will be induced in the secondary.
