sir,first tell me by what instrument you are measuring the
current,probably clamp meter.the thing is like that in case
of VFD's the incoming frequency is not same as the outgoing
frequency.so due to this change in frequency the current do
changes. sir i hope if you just supply 50Hz on incomming
siode and from the output you are also taking 50 Hz then
the current doesnot changes.
