short circuit is more dangerous in parellel
circcuit, because in parellel circuit more no of equpment
get effected whereas in series only shortcktd. part get
affected.

ph-------o-------o-----o------n
in the above fig shows series combination, if any short occur in the circuit current increases and fail starting element only ckt opened.
-------o---------/
/ parallel /
/------o---------
u r understanding from above fig suppose branch1 element may short occur current raised in that branch ,because v same i not same.remaining ckt healthy.
SO IAM TELLING CLEARLY DANGER IS SAME ABOUT LOSSING OF APPARATUS.BUT IN PARALLEL ONLY SHORT BRANCH DAMAGED AND INTRUPTED REMANING BRANCHES OK.GOOD

Short circuit is dangerous in series circuit... Because current remains same for all loads that are connected in series. So all the loads wil be affected... Whereas in parellel circuit voltage remains same for all load and current wil be different. It depends on the load. If any fault occurs in a parellel circuit, the load which is having low resistance wil be affected... Nt all loads...

Answer / luqman ahmad(farhan)
short circuits are dangerous in both the circuits but more
serious in parallel because all the loads connected are
bound to be instantly affected,on the other hand in series
the first load is affected first and the circuit fails to
function.
