Respected Sir/Mam, I'm very sorry to draw your kind attention towards me,but I really want you to help me guide me.I read your article Job Interview in Hindustan times and I'm very impressed with the article and want u to help me clear my queries,i know you're very understandable and experienced and will do your best to help me. Actually i'm medical student and i did my 12th with medical stream and during 12th i fell very ill and i missed my all the terminals and my condition started getting worst everyday,i never missed even my single test ever but now first time i missed exam even my parents got serious and we started my treatment but was of no use and i wasted my whole year.i missed my tutions etc.my problem was i use to feel excessive sleepy even after having full sleep at night i used to start feeling sleepy in morning,as u know we have to study much in medical stream i was not able to concentrate on studies bcoz of my problem,i go to school i keep feeling sleepy then same on tutions and when i used to sat at home for studies same used to happen.then started my treatment from some hospital for hyper- somnia but of no use but in addition i got side affected by a medicine - Severe head ache.in my entire life my head never ached.but now i got that problem too.it was not normal head ache but the severe head ache .like u can say 100% no pain killer use to cure that pain,during my terminals my fellows use to give exam and i use to shout in pain at home.then we started our treatment from P.G.I .i know for them problem was not serious just sleep sleep sleep.i know who don't like sleep but it was bothering my studies somehow i sat in final examinations of 12th and i still remembered that i used to shout in pain and i even got fungus infection into my ear and whole day i used to sleep and think i will study at night or at night used to think in morning exam holidays used to went like this and i decided to miss this year but mom really helped me a lot she used to read my whole syllabus whole whole night and i just use to listen and somehow i cleared 12th with 80.6% by god's grace.then as i was so ill nothing was working on i decided to drop next year to prepare for pmt bcoz since 4th standard i wanted to become a doctor that's why i took medical bcoz when i was in 4th and my mom was got very ill and she remained ill for complete 4years and 4 years me and my family suffered a lot and then when she lost all hopes to recover she was admitted to P.G.I and got well.and i decided i just don't want others to suffer from what my mom did .so i decided to be a doctor.so i dropped as i didn't want to do anything else then M.B.B.S but there was no improvement in my sleep problem but i decided whatever may happen i will not stop studies my parents used to convince me that once i will be well i can start my studies again but i always believed that we should learn to work in storms one day when they will pass and we even will not be able to know. so i brought cd's for pmt preparation and i did my 100% as much as i could in preparing even in problems but whole year passed i did my best and was doing my best,even in 100%acheness i use to keep keep keep studying sometimes till 4 o clock in morning.and never told my doctor that i m studying when he told me not to study more than one hour but u can tell can anybody clear PMT studying one hour and is it very small syllabus? and i was so sure that its god only who is making me study and i will surely clear this year and side by side my treatment also keep going.whole year passed out my entrance was in june and may came.i was so tensed that nothing is working t my sleep problem but i was living with hope that i will clear entrance but this month i got more ill and my problem which started from 12th is not solved even not at this stage after 2years my mom also got ill she got very depressed and now i just stopped studying bcoz i had to look after home and mom and everything and i left everything on god and if he want me to clear entrance i will otherwise not.i gave entrance and in exam i was not even able to sit i was feeling so so so sleepy i was not able to read a single question to solve them was so far.my head started aching and i just marked answers without studying and on 10june i got my result and i didn't get seat and i got very hopeless that nothing is working on in my life,doctors are not solving my problem and even on dropping this year and studying i didn't get seat which was my purpose of life to be a doctor and smile and serve.but i m very positive type of girl ,i trust in god and made myself convince that whatever is going on is going on according to god and how can he do anything wrong.so i decided to shift my stream and join hotel management. but when i found that there is also entrance for that even. National council for hotel management. and by the time i became aware of it the entrance was already held in march April and i missed and it means now again this year i have to drop to wait for the entrance and prepare and i just can't join any college bcoz of not being well now also hmm. now my question to u is when i will go to give interview for admissions in college for management next year.what to say if interviewer will ask why you dropped two years? i just can't say bcoz i was ill u know i just don't wanna show my weakness to them otherwise i will miss everyone want active and smart people not ill right even if i will say somewhere or other they will feel that i won't be able to give my 100%.i know u can well understand why right? but then what to say to interviewer? bcoz hotel industry is such a stream where they just want active smart people who can handle and maintain everything so perfectly and maintain their reputation.they are also right at their place but i just don't wanna stop in my life i also have dreams to fly high.i just don't wanna loose my chance for 2year drop matter i know you will surely tell a fabulous answer which will even make them silent.Give me direct answer to following answers from which are from interviewer point of view: why you dropped two years why such a gap in studies? why u drop ist year? {i can't say i was ill i know u will tell me good one} why u drop then another year again? {if i will say bcoz entrance was already held for this year thats why i have to wait for another year,what if they will ask me then what u did whole year?i can't say that i spent whole year preparing for ur entrance bcoz they will say why u didn't do on the very ist year when u was in 12th? what if they will say u took whole year for just preparation of entrance our students can prepare in month or two months and clear? i can't say i m not that intelligent. reality is even i could prepare in months or two months if i was normal as i was in 11 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaa lots of questions aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa help me i know u will surely gonna help me eagerly waiting for urs mind blowing answers and very very thanks for spending ur precious time of fabulous life in solving out my stupid query.
