WHAT IS SEMICONDUCTOR? EXPLAIN DETAIL. FOR EXAMPLE TAKE A PENCIL.THE LEAD IS MADE UP OF GRAPHITE IT IS A CONDUCTOR.THE OUTER COVER IS MADE UP OF WOOD IT IS INSULATOR.PENCIL IS A SEMICODUCTOR MATERIAL.

It is a three inch fan and i want it to rotate to other direction .I've tried cutting the wire and reconnecting them inverse like black to white and white to black ,but it won't start rotating when i plug it in that way.And then it works again when i rejoin the wire to the way it is. We have a distribution transformer of 750KVA/11kv/440v and an AVR (Servo Stabilizer) of 750KVA on the LT side of distribution transformer.
