An alloy of tin and lead in the ratio 40:60 is used to make
fuse wire and an alloy of tin and lead in the ratio 60:40 is
used to make solder wire.(solder wire melts easily than fuse
wire since tin is more)

The fuse wires are bare wires made of easily melting materials having high specific resistance I.e. gold, silver, lead, tin alloy, tinned copper wire etc. Mostly standard alloy 63%tin and 37% lead , fuse wires are used for low current upto 5amperes and tinned copper forany value of currents.
