The Diesel engine flywheel is coupled with turbine,
As per the Faraday's Law of electromagnetic induction, the
conductor cut the magnetic coil, current inducing in the
conductor,
the same the conductor is the disel engine prime mover shaft
it cut the magnetic coil inside the turbine.Diesel genset is
the diesel engine used for producing the power

the generator is coupled with a shaft of a diesel engine.
when engine is on the shaft is driven at a specific speed to get
the required frequency. so the prime mover of the generator is
ont directly coupled with the shaft of the engine but through
some gear wheel mechanism
