In my way, only two methods r possible to change the supply frequency. on is To adjust the generating supply frequency(adjust the speed of generator)And to convert
incoming supply into dc by using rectifier & again convert it
into ac with the help of inverter and fr of this ac supply
can be change by changing firing angle of scrs .

Voltage frequency can be changed by using of VFD ( variable
frequency drive ) which consist of SCR,Diode, etc.it can
make from zero to > 250 HZ.means can control the motor
speed or frequency of suppllied voltage.
