Why use only DC supply to charge batteries why not AC Supply??..

Answer / a.v.s.ramesh

because, when a.c supply is applied to a battery , the

gets discharged during negative halfcycle of a,c
supply .that's why a.c supply is not suitable for charging
the batteries and d.c is suitable.
