How Calculat the Cable Sizing of HT/LT System & Explian by
one Exampal?
Answer / habib
Cable size (sq.mm.) is selected dpendent on 4 facors
1. Current carrying capacity (popularly termed Amapcity)
of the cable.
2. Voltage drop that can be tolerated at the load point.
3. Short circuit tolerance of the cable.
4. Mechanical strength of the cable.
A cable is selected fo the job that can meet all these
criteria.
Basically HT and LT cables are of same material but the
difference is in insulation.
Looks too much like a text book lesson. If you can post
your exact requirement, I would try to help.

For refrigerators the motor current is raised beyond its rating on both conditions when the voltage of the system is more(say 270v) than the rated voltage(220v) as well as when the voltage of system is less(say 160v) than normal voltageof 220v, why explain?

following are the questions asked in interviews: 1) Considering the short circuit fault, which switchgear is preferable, SFU OR MCCB? Which operates faster? whicg one is popular in Indian Market and why? 2)Define SCPD. What is type2 coodination? 3)Why the contactor rating is higher for the fuseless selection than for fuse selection? whether the ratinf of SFU or MCCB remains the same in both the cases? 4)If the HP rating is known then can you calculate the ratings of L.V Switchgear(SFU/MCCB, contactor, OLR) without using the selection chart?

WHAT INSTRUMENT IS USED TO MEASURE THE MAGNETIC FLUX?
y we use neutral, all r told its used to for closed path..k its a just used to closed path,in a transmission line y we put same conductor used n both phase and neutral..if we use less than phase conductor in neutral mean we ll reduce cost its right r wrong..if we use mean any problem occur in transmission line..
