HOW TO CALCULATE THE WIRE SIZE FOR THE GIVEN LOAD?..

Answer / g v s

calculate the full load current for a given load, select
the cable from oem catalogue and then find out dearating
factor from oem or NFPA 70 TABLES .Depending upon laying
of method (whether it is under ground or o/h or both), then
multiple the df for a given load current. after this u hv
to calculate the voltage drop and it should be within the
limits as per ieee and ansi standa.
