if we give approx 1500rpm to stator, only that case good
induction is covered, & the winding is of genetrally 4 pole.
so according to N=120f/P,
Frequency should be around 50-60HZ.

it is the just standard which is adopted globally (60hz china, 50hz rest of the world). Design of equipment adopting common standard is easy. the design of equipments based on different freqencies would have been different which is quit difficult.
