High voltage bus bar can be protected from short circuit
fault or surges by using reactors.

These are simply an inductor which is placed at different
location or that part of circuit which is to be protected.

its principle of working is that it dissipates energy in the
form of heat when high voltage passes through it

as per the voltage of the bus bar variable reactors can be
used of variable rating.

How can i calculate the Breaking capacity of molded case circuit breaker, is the breaking capacity of CB for Diesel generator shall be less than grid supply's breaker ?
