my visa interview is on 25th june 2009.I lost my toefl score
card and ordered for another copy.It was posted by ets on
may15,2009 but I did'nt received it yet.so can I attend the
visa interview with the printout of my unoffical score
available in the internet and submit the print out of the
email I recieved as a proof of ordering the score card?

well u can wait for ur score report till 25th but incase u
fail to recieve it, then u can login in ur ets account . go
to view ur score, and then take a screen shot(print screen)
of that page. i.e ur total score. and save it as a picture
file like jpg in ur computer , and take a print. the print
screen button is at the top right of ur keyboard. (above
home). second way is ,,if u have reported ur score to diff
university . u will recieve another copy of ur score
report. u can take that too.

Hi! i too lost my toefl score card. I had my interview on
17th june. I got a pink slip and thats because im going for
PhD in Biology. They dint bother about my score cards,
though they were in the folder. Even if VO asks, I think u
can surely explain them about the loss and that u have
applied for duplicate. I think it should suffice.Clearly
its a minor issue and no need to panick at all!

I passed my 10th ( CBSE ) in 1998 ( 76% marks ).I did a Three Year Engineering Diploma in Computer Science in the period 2002 - 2005 ( 83% marks ).I did National Open School 12th Standard in 2009 - 2010 with Eng,Phy,Chem,Bio,Maths as subjects ( 84% marks ).I have Academic Gap in the period 1998 - 2002 and 2005 - 2009 as I was involved in family run small scale business.Now I plan to do Undergraduate Degree in Business in the U.S.A.I am now 28 years old.Will the Academic Gap affect my chances to get admission ?

helo, I do not have a toefl scorecard. I reapplied for another but didnt recieve after that also. Does it cause a problem during my visa interview. Even if the VO doesnt ask for it, is it checked initially at the entrance gates.

I am planning to go for my MS, its a two years course worthing some thing xyz lakh rupees, if I am able to show the above amount in BANK loan do i need to show up any additional sponsorers.. in addition to the bank loan i can show 1/4th amount in FD's. I've gone for the interview twice and I got rejected both the times. It was due to 214(b)-Potential immigrant. I'm applying for the VISA from abroad since my parents work abroad and I've done my schooling here. I got properties in India and my mom has got a job in India as well(on long leave). How do I convince the VO I will return back?

Myself Rajkumar, These are the my credentials.... ---GRE-890----(Q-610)----(V-280) ---TOEFL-90 ---For Jan intake ---My background is Computer science. ---I had scored a 55% aggregate in my under graduation. ---and i had 30 backlogs.. --i got I-20 from three universities ---what is the suitable reason should i give at the visa counselor,i am thinking that the fallowing reason can satisfies them ------i was didn't put much hard work for the preparation for the exams but later i did and i succeded...... is that above reason will satisfies them,please help me out..................
